The original Nibbles (aka snake) game

I know there are endless clones, but I'm looking for the original version that I played once a upon a time. There were two snakes, sammy and jake, and you had to collect numbers (not fruit, dots, or anything else) 1-9 in order to get to the next level.

Anybody know where I can download it? I've done a search and found lots of promising sites, but they all fail to work, or expect me to program code into qbasic, which I cannot do.

That might be it, its on a grid and there are two snakes that catch numbers... I'll look for a little more though.

EDIT: This claims to be an exact replica, its the last one on this page.

You rock, man. The second link looks good, but when I saved it my computer gave me some message about a file not found

That 2nd link worked for me... instead of saving it, just click the "open" button, and then when it's done your default unzipping program should take care of it. Haha it's hyperactive though, obviously programmed for a much older machine, and these faster processors launch the thing into warp speed.

There is freeware out there that is made to slow old games down. So that they run at a speed you can actually play. Not sure how well they work haven't tried one out myself.
