I can't believe anyone thought this was real even for a moment. I've never seen a kitten that wouldn't try to crawl into a jar like that all by itself especially if there was a particularly interesting piece of fluff inside it. I thought it ws great! The cat carrier was always one of my faves too.

I just don't understand why some people hate cats. It's like a weird American tradition or some strange proof of manliness. If you want to experience an annoying pet, then get a parakeet. At least a cat will get rid of the parakeet problem for you.

I think it's easy to understand. I hate cats (not that I could ever intentionally harm one). It's a Canadian tradition too! Cats have attitude problems. You leave one alone for a little while and they get all pissed off and take a dump on your bed. My aunt has two cats that she dotes on. She had to go to the hospital for a week for some emergency surgery. The neighbours had a key to her place and made sure that the cats were taken care of. When she got back home, they wouldn't come near her for days. Who needs attitude like that from a pet? Cats also have an antagonistic streak a mile wide. They seem to sense that I don't like them so they try to climb all over me. Even the most antisocial cat will be in my lap within 5 minutes unless I'm watching out for it.

Give me a dog any day. They're a hell of a lot more work and require a much bigger commitment, but they never cop attitude. It doesn't matter if you're gone for an hour or two weeks, they are always thrilled to see you. As long as you treat them well, they have endless affection and loyalty for you.

cats will come to you because you hating cats make less eye contact and he sees you as the least threatening(eye contact=threatening)

also, my cat is always thrilled to see me, hes always purring and follows me every where in the house, id say thats unswerving lolaty and affection

My cat acts more like a dog than my dog. The cat will always play with you. The dog gets pissed if you leave him alone for even an hour and will poop/piss/get into the trash/vomit/destroy stuff. The cat does get cocky at times, but i just put him in his place!
