ME = Moron Edition. One of the single most bastardized OS'es ever.

Go to XP. Nothing like that lovely stable NT Kernel.

Why XP really is the way to go.....

XP is based off of NT architechture wich back in the day was created specificaly for corporate use and servers. (No I would personaly NEVER EVER EVER recomend serving off of windows...however back from that tangent) ME is based off of windows 9x architechure which was meant for home pcs. It was built to be nice and cuddly and cute and all that noise,, reliability was put second to ease of use. ME is considered one of the least reliable versions of windows to date. NT on the other hand is still one of the most popular server platforms out there even though they stopped updating it years ago. XP has the core and robustness of NT while retaining the cute fluffyness of the Home OS. The short of it is that 9x and NT based OSes are very different on the inside.

Now on to the root of your issue. How long ago did you do a clean install of windows on this machine? It could very well be that you are experienceing a simple case of bit rot and need to re-install. When you get that blue screen its basicaly showing you what is happening in the stack when the system becomes too unreliable to continue operations. I wouldnt be suprised at all if Reckless was correct about the Driver issue .. especialy with a card as new as that one is. Current Driver support for ME is typicaly pretty touch and go.

Anyhow... good luck with your box.
