Yeah, I learned about this morning. North Korea is communist and, IMO, has adopted the same skewed vision of themselves as communist states tend to do. This little incident would tarnish that vision. They can't be seen as incompitent by their population. After all, the State is infallible.

It was the lead story on Foxnews.com, AP, and CNN yesterday evening. So it was all over the news.

Oh yea this has been all over the news. But details are sketchy because they are a very closed society. And no information can come out of there except what is cleared by the government. And that has been contradictory. This morning I heard the official release of information was now that a Dynomite explosion touched off by an electrical wire in a warehouse was the official cause. However that contradicts the earlier claim it was a collision between two trains. One of them carrying diesel fuel and the other LP gas. It seems there was some speculation that the cause of this was the rulers train passed through that area a few hours before this. He always travels by train. And when he does all rail traffic is haulted for his passage. And this throws off the routes and timing of the trains that are haulted. Thus leading to confusion and routing issues. And therefore the two trains being on the same track heading into each other at the same time. So it would make sense, if this was true, that the Governement would NOT want to admit it was a train accident. As this would shed fault with the government. But thats all speculation at this time. We may never know.
