    My first 3d Render!

Ok, well this was done in a demo of Strata 3d Pro. Very cool....

What do you think? Oh yea, it is really compressed from the 2 megs it was originally.

3d is really cool.... Wish I started doing this stuff a LONG time ago...

Note: I appologize for the excessive size. I still need to get a new copy of Photoshop, so I can't edit images

      decent use of lens-flare...

where did you get the mapping for the planet? is it a pre-made skin or did you take the time to do it yourself?

your starfield is ok... but the planet doesn't seem to have a proper shadow in relation to the light, unless the light is somehow closer to the camera than the planet.... in which case you'd have a scale issue...

      Good start though!

the mapping is a map made by the Voyageur flyby of Mars.

I only started using this program yesterday, so it's all really new.

Available from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory(NASA)website

I contemplated doing one in PS on my own, but I felt that the NASA one was more accurate, thus I chose to use it.
