AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Anyone know the laws on bicycle hit and run in CA?
Bicycle hit car that drove in front of him, low speeds but a dent was put in the door.
Sounds like the car is at fault. The car suppose to change lanes behind the bike. But we still need more detail. Was the car trying to make a right turn at an intersection, changing lanes? I think that bicycles are suppose to be treated as a pedestrian, but I'm not really sure about that.

that happened to me a few years back, trash my nice new mountain bike, and the old man keep driving. its his fault, i ended up get a new bike with his money
did the bike rider get away? or did they catch him...because if he got away more than likely that's it...i doubt the police would waste their time on finding a hit and run bicyclist...well in populated california cities at least...here in san luis cops will go out of there way to chase a bicyclist and give em a ticket.
