Hmmmmm.... fav band don't have one, can't slim it down that far, so I'll give you one in a couple of different genres--at least I consider them different.

      Sick of it All
      Dropkick Murphy's
      Floggin'Molly
      Snapcase
      Propaghandi
2003 SuperBowl Champions!, THE New England Patriots!

You listen to a pretty wide range MagMan. What is Nirvana like? I have never heard any of thier songs, but I know who they are.

You've never heard Nirvana?! You best download some right now. They were the biggest grunge band ever. Hell, they were one of the best bands ever. Then Kurt blew his head off....

Download any songs by them, they're all good. The live ones are damn good too.

Either Dimmu Borgir or Borknagar...not sure...

If you want to hear some good samples of the bands, I recommend Colossus by Borknagar, and Absolute Sole Right by Dimmu Borgir...but any of their other songs will do fine.

There are a lot of bands that I could list as my favorites, but if I had to give it to one band, it would be Slipknot. I've seen them in concert a couple times, and they are so good. Although I do like a lot of other bands too.

                            I hate techno, techno stinks!!
Anuerism is a great song by Nirvana. Anything on the incesticide album is good. Bleach is a good album too. Nirvana ruled when they were newer, earlier than smells like teen spirit.

My favorite band is Pearl Jam. Im a "rabid" fan. I drove 1000 miles round trip to see them open thier US tour. I coulda just gotten tickets here, but instead I drove 500 miles, borrowed some couch space from someone I didn't even know, played beach bum for a week, and drove home. I managed to blow $600 that week, I don't know how. I stayed at some chicks apartment, and she paid for most of the food and booze. Oh well.

Behind them comes a pile, as in Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pink Floyd, Tool, Godsmack, Disturbed, etc.

As for good Nirvana songs, if you have a fast connection, download the entire "Unplugged from New York" CD. If you have a slow connection, go buy it you cheap bastage

I can't believe there are people out there who don't know Nirvana. Without them and other Seatlle bands of the early 90s (Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, anyone? ) modern rock wouldn't be the same. Those damn posers Creed wouldn't be around, thats for certain. (Grr.. i hate Creed, long story. Some people may be able to guess why).
