Who is getting FFX?

Ok, so who of you intends on getting final fantasy 10? it releases in approximately 55 minutes, and its made by the same guy who created ff8, which is the best of the FF's no doubt....but i played 8 first then 7 so i was used to 8's way of playing, such as GF's ect....and i didnt like materia, and 9 just plain sucked

I have been paying zero attention to anything related to gaming lately, but I'm sure I'll pick it up eventually. I'm an RPG addict.

The weirdest part is, I always play the WHOLE game up to like the last 10 minutes or so, then save it, and stop playing. I have 2 PSX memory cards devoted to unfinished RPGs. ChronoCross, FF7, FF8, Legend of the Dragoon, Legend of Mana, Star Ocean 2, etc.

By the way, Star Ocean II was the best damn RPG since the original ChronoTrigger.

ChronoTrigger, Star Ocean II, FF2 (or 3? the one with Cecil). Best three RPGs ever.

Don't argue with me, I own every single NES, SNES, and Genesis RPG, and have played about 90% of the PSX ones. Even the really bad ones

Oh yeah i am...should be getting my ps2 in the mail tomorrow. And i'll be lowering my gpa even more next semester!

vf-xx: yep, its cid. when i heard it...it was a pain to go to all of them and try and remember where he was, i doubted it for some reason. but, now that i think about it. he's such a good mechanic, the man can do anything, in a matter of seconds!

vf-xx; I own FFIX and I quite enjoyed it... I thought it was worthwhile, but thats just me... I suppose its really a matter of personal opinion. *shrugs*

my girly and i are battling over possesion of the controller as i speak.

the game, simply put, is gorgeous. the abilities/upgrades system is a little odd, but none the less very freaking cool. fully 3D mission maps are a very welcom change, and the turn based battles are excellent.

go for and be a good consumer by buying this game.

Gorgeous? Nah, I wouldn't say that. They're good graphics, but far from gorgeous. I guess it's my years of PC Gaming that makes me think all consoles are by far inferior. Wait, no, it's not, they are inferior!

I may get it...FF7 was by far the best FF8 was good. I have played most of the final Fantasies just cant remember those damn nintendo and gameboy ones to long ago whhen I was a weee little kid.

Its by squaresoft....that is reason enough, every FF game ruled, well with the exception of 9, but 8 was by far the best ff in history, ever...but i think its gonna lose its title to 10
