I dont know why the admins / campus cops / teachers get so uptight ubout that stuff. I know a few of them who did that kind of stuff and others that didnt care. The reason they do stuff like that is to "protect" the wrong doers and the other kids from being "Corrupted." Given, pot and alcohol are illegal..

I dont really care whether the rules are enforced or not. I just believe that if you are doing something you are not supposed to and being stupid about it, you deserve to get caught.

the oh so many reasons why your friends are stupid:

1. since they are freshman, they probably cant drive, so they probably got a ride to the school from parents. bringing a bookbag to a school DANCE is very suspicious to parents and im surprised they didnt get caught by their parents.

2. using a bong when you dont want to get caught? they should have used joints or a test tube, something that they hide better.

3. leaving the bag where somebody can see it, very stupid.

4. having extra weed in the bag, in a bookbag, left unattended, NOT a good idea. they would probably be in less trouble if they just found a bong with residue.

6. smoking weed as a freshman. right now they probably dont smoke too much, considering theyre stupid enough to get caught so easily for such a stupid reason, but when they are juniors/seniors they will be full-blown potheads. save it for college...if at all.

Some states/counties/towns have internal possetion laws. Meaning if your high, you have the drug inside you, therefore you are in possetion, and can be charged for it.

yes EsPo, you are correct. someone in my school got reported as smelling like weed, so he got sent to the office, and they sad they couldnt test him.

damn that would be harsh to expell them for that. we get lunch time detention...possibely suspension for getting caught smoking (weed or cigs). but your friends definately rooked it and desereved to be caught...............I only wish I lived near you and had found the backpack first.....
