Actually, I think the McLaren F1 is not THE fastest. I heard the Pagani Zonda and the Keonigsegg(sp?) are more capable/faster cars. BUT noone has managed to do independent tests.
I think that SLR looks a lot better then the previous design.I wish I wasn't broke....Comment

Granted, when it was built it was supposedly the fastest, but I really don't care if it is or not, I just love the way it looks
. Also what is really cool about the F1 is that it is a cockpit design, so it seats three people with the driver in the middle and in front of the other two just a bit. It is supposed to be difficult to get in and out of.
