                  *so confused* my dad has pie every year for his birthday....instead of cake...

                  anyway, yeah good, but nothing beats the mid-early seasons.

                    I think the early ones kind of suck, I appreciate them for laying so mush of the background for the characters but if you go back and watch the 1st season episodes they just really are'nt that funny. The newer Simpsons are so much wittier and hit with so many more quips than the old ones.

                    I dont think alot of people even get all the jokes or when they make a nod to an old movie or even their old episodes cause they come with everything so fast now. Alot of people just like the old ones 'cause their the old ones but if you compare them to the newer ones, they dont hold up as well.

                      i agree totally all my freinds say that the old ones are awsome and that the simpsoms are going down hill but i think that they are better now then they were.the simpsons just got a new contract today 4 more years and double the money an episode that they are getting now
