I've got that, it was so awesome cause you could put the other games ontop and play them with knuckles.
I've also got sonic 1 2 and 3 for genesis, sonic the hedge hog and sonic chaos for game gear, and i used to have sonic pinball for genesis but it broke, i feel like im missing one.
Plus i got all 3 sonic games for dreamcast.

Also does anyone know if there were 2 models of the sega genesis released? Cause when i first got my genesis way back it had everything normal and ok, but then that broke a couple years later so we got a new one and it was different, like the case was a different shape.

Does anyone remember ranger x or vectorman? those games rocked

There were four different versions actually. The first had a large base with the cartridge slot offset to the right and the console buttons on the left. It was much more rounded - domed shaped - and came with the original 3 button controllers. The second release was smaller with the cartridge slot centered on the console and also included 3 button controllers. It was re-released later with minor cosmetic differences and 6 button controllers to take advantage of the new EA sports titles and to compete with the flexibility of the SNES controller design. The fourth Genesis (which was actually named the Genesis 3 - despite it really being the fourth release) was smaller still and came with one hi-frequency 6 button controller. The hi-frequency controller was designed in response to the controllers available then for the TurboGrafX-16, NeoGeo and 3DO.

No, no, no the Contra game for the Genesis, wasn't it called Conta: *something* Corps. That game was baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadddddd. Can't also forget the honorable mention of the Road Rash titles and the various strike games like Jungle Strike.

My favorite has gotta be Deser Strike. IT was so cool to fly an Apache helicpoter and go around shooting all the little soldiers. I'd waste hellfire missles on them all the time.

I thought I was the only person to know about that system. I had the big one and the portable one. It was a seriously underrated system. Bonk will forever live on in my memory as the first video game I ever played.

Has anyone ever beat it? I think i got to level 20 or so. It gets really hard.
Yes that was my favorite game for like a year in the arcade then i got it for Turbo graphix and genesis. Turbo one is a lot better I think. I have beat them both. The trick is to never stop moving and never go back to where you just were. I did lots of circles and was able to beat it.
