    Gas Prices...

Whats the highest in your area? Mine is like in the 1.90's for regular.

I am going to be getting a car within a few months and I was looking for the explorer because its an SUV but with gas prices going up and I might have to get a car, like a GTI which gets 30 miles per gallon.

      1.69 in Bryan TX.

I drive for my job. It sucks.

Look into some of the mid-size trucks and SUVs. Nissan Xterra's I think get pretty good mileage for an SUV. So do Monteros, Frontiers, Rangers, and Tacomas.

                  Prices Dropped!!

Well i have some good new for you arizona folk gas prices dropped 6 cents It went from 1.98 to a 1.91 ( regular) here is Tucson!.... But cause i have an older engine in My toyota (chevy 350) i have to use the good gas. and it only went down two cents..WOOHOO from 2.14 to 2.12... the thing that pisses me off is the gas companies say there is an oil shortage..BUT there isn't. There is no shortage of oil.... Texas and Alaska has more oil the the whole middle east.... No OIL SHORTAGED!!! , And Shell gas company just closed down there most producing plat in california. And there are stock piles of gas and oil, so there wouldn't be any gas shortages like what happen in the 70's and 80's... the reasions why gas prices are so high is cause of the people in congress. ok..i am done venting

"Go hybrid. Watch your gas costs go bye-bye."

Biggest ripoff ever. I knew a guy who got a hybrid. That nifty little battery costs nearly 6000. He knows becuase he's replaced it twice. Its not covered by warranty. That buys alot of gas.

                        Which hybrid?

                        Also $1.69 here.

Too damn much if you ask me. You can thank reliance on Middle East oil and Opec cutting production. We need to think of something quick to cut consumption of oil. That way we get a cleaner enviroment, less consumption of fossil fuels, and most important, showing those Middle Eastern oil kings some hurt.

$1.98 - cause theres an oil shortage and its summer..

Like the heating oil, propane, etc. I buy during the winter along with everyone else in teh North is nto a drain on the petroleum resources (maybe there not, I don't care enough to look it up and am just going to make wild assumptions, I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong).

What peeves me is the change in price, 20% in one day... if I did that with my labor rate people would come unglued.
