I feel even sorrier for the 2 guys in my history class who have to take the US history test Friday morning, then the Euro test that same afternoon.
And in conclusion... AP = A lot of Pain

My sister is taking hers this friday.
Unfortunately the band director scheduled the band trip for this weekend too. So she get to take the AP US History test in South Padre......
On the otherhand I'm beginning to believe that AP tests are overrated. I got 2's on both my English tests in highschool then turned around and took the English CLEP test and placed out of both Freshman english courses..... eh.

Everybody's AP tests are gunna be the same day and same time...
Lets see, my courses this year:
AP Chemistry
AP Calculus AB
AP French
AP US History
AP English
I only ordered the Calculus AB, US History, and Chemistry exams. According to all my classmates, I should have taken the AP English exam... oh well. Took the Calculus AB exam today, WOW. That was hard. It probably didn't help that my teacher has no clue what she's talking about and really failed to prepare us. Oh well, I ended up back at school just in time for one and a half classes.
By the way, remember guys... no discussing of the test. They'll actually prosecute you if you're reported to have discussed it with someone else.

Sophmore Year:
AP Calculus BC.....5
AP Chemistry.......5
AP European........5
AP Latin..............3
Junior Year:
AP Physic C.........5
AP US History.......5
AP Comp Sci.........4
This Year: (Projected)
AP Statistics.........5 (finished with 45 minutes to spare on the free response, not worried)
AP Biology............5 (Did 2 old tests, 117/120, 112/120 multiple choice, not worried)
AP Human Geography 4 (Didn't take a course, took it for the hell of it)
AP US Government.3-5 Don't know about this one, its supposed to be hard.
But ya, I can't get credit for the courses that I might actually use, Multi-variable calc, Calculus 3, Non-linear Dynamics, US Law... I still have to ask my soon to be college if there is any way for me to place out of the calculus courses because I don't want to sit through 2 years of calculus that I've already completed. (I get credit for one year with BC calc). *sigh* Still have miles to go, living in a shadow sucks, can't escape it especially if my interests line up with my dad's where he did his research. I can't get work in a freaking lab with out every professor knowing him and every graduate student having read his papers. I thought I would escape the legacy crap by not applying to my parent's college (Harvard). But science is such a small world. [/rant]
That having been said, I hate the concept of APs. Teachers are forced to teach for a test and nothing else. It defeats the purpose of a class. People take courses based on whether they are AP or not because it looks good on a transcript. What is the point? People don't have an interest in the course, its so they get the "AP" on the piece of paper going to colleges. What I find is that most of these kids sit in class writing down every word that the teacher says and writes on the board, not listening or thinking during class, go home and memorize all the information, come back, take a test, go home and forget. I learn because I want to learn. To tell you the truth, at the beginning of the year I took notes in bio and non-linear dynamics on my laptop, but now I don't bring anything to school except my textbooks for each class.
Interacting with teachers seems so much more important than memorizing information. I have learned a lot more than I have ever learned and I developed relationships with my teachers that have already paid off significantly.
ps. AP english is a waste of time, don't take it. Dropped the course after 2 weeks, its all total bull crap. believe me
