MS sucks, alternative to power point

well I'm tired of messing with powerpoint. I have been making buisness pesentations for a few years now and I'm getting sick of Power point. When I try to que a certain number of slides with the length of a song I spend house trying to get it right. It's more or less a lucky guess.

Does anyone know of an alternative to powerpoint? That will time the lenght of a set of slides to the length of a mp3?

i have powerpoint 2002 and i believe it allows you to manually set timings. you sit through the presentation and manually advance the slides. then when you're done you can save the timings.

Try openoffice.org. I've had Open Office for a couple years. Works well enough, and the price is right. (free)

There is no alternative to any Microsoft product. They are superior in every way. Submit. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.
