anyone have Dish/Direct TV before

i am looking for someone's old reciever and satellite from a Dish/DirectTV hookup...anyone have one they woudl be willing to get rid of?

We still have all the equipment from when we were with Dish Network. We cancelled with them like 6 months ago and they said that they were going to send us some boxes for us to send them the stuff back but they never did. The only thing is if/when they do want it back we either send it to them or pony up the $$$.

Well thats just great except for the contract we had with them that says the equipment doesnt belong to us. Anyways, if it turns out they dont want the stuff back ill sell it to ya

Look on Ebay, I've picked up some of the old Dish100 boxes and remotes on great deals. Make sure to mis-spell receiver as "reciever" and you'll get a better price.

Just make sure the cards are clean in that they don't have stored up charges accumulated on them. Of course, if you already have an existing card to slip in, you can always re-mate it to the new receiver.

actaully...i am looking for someones old system so that I can turn it into Comcast...they are giving a 400$ rebate if you turn in your old crap.
