It's not going to be a civil war, it's going to be a revolutionary war.
Both Dems and Pubs will be thrown out if they can't pull it together. We'll go back to being Whigs and Tories.

Keep in mind our founding fathers overthrew the establishment rather than pay 4 % tax.
Now taxes get increased 100% or more in a single jump, and nobody has the guts to stand up.

Who's gonna be the B. Franklin of our generation?

      Pyro Pyro Pyro....

      It's not the aircraft carrier.

It's the UCAV's and the space-based lasers we're designing. Those are the most advanced and coolest. Besides that big spaceship. With big lasers. Known as Battlestars. Don't say it was just a movie/TV series. It's real....

Darn it 1DE you beat me to it about what the factors (not all) that lead to the civil war. Anyways. I see this country going no where. Dem and Rep both try to opposite the other. They are two totally different views. Instead of finding the middle ground they'd rather not have anything at all. I personally hate the blaming of both sides. Both make decisions that affect others. Instead of being in a society of blame do something called comprimising. Go to the middle and make it so ALL groups come out clean or dirty. It's like the corporate america non sense. Without the low people the high people would get no where. Without the High people the low people get no where. In the end both parties need each other. More so to blame and use as a platform to set them apart. So to answer the question. No I don't see this at all near a Civil War point. In fact I see the country going more towards a stall then anything else.

By the way. I really hate how if your even close to a liberal you are considered less of a person on this board. We are ALL people that bleed RED. We all breath air. People that are so dumb to vote straight party are pathetic. Vote on issue's not because of the little letter next to the person.
        Sorry, I'm old

If you were to rebel and start a Civil War against the government, would you really want to fight against the US military?

About that thing about both sides hating each other....
I remember the dems hating on bush at every chance, while the republicans were tryig to unite the country behind our troops........I mean, come on, we're at war now, stop whining and start acting like grown men. Before the war with iraq started, I can understand that they would bad mouth the others plan, but now that we are at war, whats the point? demoralize everyone?
You realize that for the dems to win in the next election, that the country has to do really bad in all aspects? Meaning, economy down the drain, give up in Iraq, etc etc........

                    1) Fight against the US Military.
                    Hell, that would really suck.

                    Man with hunting rifle

                    -vs.-

UCAV coming in with a nice little tactical mini nuke.

The winner, by obviousness, is, the UCAV!!!

Then the super secret satellites get turned on. Then the little flying miniature airplane thingies that are like, super small, that fly around by remote control and kill people. Then Delta Force comes in and kills everyone. And then, the crazy dudes take over and put all the Pro-America, Anti-Dictator Dude people in little 2x2 cells IN THE GROUND. With rottting skunks at your feet, and human waste poured through the bars onto you.

                    Edit: Funny Video

Ruling out the icecaps melting, a meteor becoming crashed into us, the ozone layer leaving, and the Sun exploding, we're definitely going to blow ourselves up. H'okay. So basically we've got China, France, India, Israel, Pakistan, Russia, The UK, and us, with nukes. We've got about 2600 more than anybody else. Whatever. H'anyway.

Crazy Accent: "We're Definitaly going to blow ourselves up."

You can support the troops without supporting the war. That's how I stand.

If I remember right just about everyone here hates on the Dem's for even being themselves. War is war. Not everyone likes the fact that we are at war. I support the troops. Hell my brother is in Afghanistan. Doesn't mean I have to like the reason's we are there or Iraq. To win the next election all it's gonna take is enough people upset over Bush's decisions. It'd be the same for any politician. When one messes up the public votes them out. It's pretty much that simple. Lewis Black has it right when he says this..."wanna know the difference between a Republican and a Democrat.. Democrats suck and Republican's blow."

I hate every liberal. Does that answer your question?

And as far as a civil war? Not in a million years. Liberals appease, they have no use for conflict (unless its unconstituational judicial activism, which they have become professionals at).
Example #1 of person I would like to pop in mouth for the "Holier than thou" BS. Does it sound like I am a liberal ready to appease you? i didn't think so.

Roaddawg i agree with you as well. It just happens that I lean towards the democrat viewpoint on the majority of issues. I also am pro-life, so i don't agree with everything, but on a seemingly (lately) politically racist board like this, I get made fun of by small mided people such as rooster by being called liberal, etc... of course, he's is the only one who is being made a fool of.

UCAV's are definately not the coolest, and dont see how its the most advanced.. I am sure there is a TON more technology and advancement in the F-22 Raptor... now thats pure hotness. As far as aircraft carriers.. who wouldnt want their own mobile airbase with enough aricraft to meet or exceed the airforces of some 3rd world nations?
