Anyone else see Lord of the Rings already?

I went to see Lord of the Rings last night with AHN, a fellow AOer.

For all you Tolkien freaks, the movie kicks ***. The elven cities and the Mines of Moira were spectacluar. The only think I didn't care for was the costume design for 'the Dark Lord' Sauron. Don't get me wrong, he looked cool, I just thought the design of his armor left much to be desired. Just not to my tastes at least.

The Dark Riders (aka Nazgul) were much more cool lookin. As to the overall accuracy of the movie in following the book, I really couldn't say in an 'informed' way, as it's been several years since I read the various Tolkien books.

Well, I'll end my ramble...but as a final word, I'll say 'GO SEE IT!!'. Well...I guess that was a sentence and not just a word.

It was sold out yesterday, so I went to go see Behind Enemy Lines (good movie, by the way).

Gonna see about going tonight or tomorrow.

I've seen it twice. Once at 12:01 with all my friends .Then again last night at a 7:00 show with my brother and dad.

I can't even begin to explain how much I liked it, so I won't. Just go see it.

Went again yesterday. (I saw it last week). So much fun. Such a good movie. I loved the Balrog and cave troll. Thought the cities were wonderful. They used them as you wolud in a movie set, as a background.

                    Merry Christmas!!!

I saw it on the 22nd - great, great movie...but not true to the book at all in some parts - biggest thing that comes to mind is how Mary and Pippin join with Frodo and Sam on their way to Rivendell. Other than a few little things like that (Boromir didn't die in Fellowship!), the movie rocked really hard. I'm going to see it again...
