DVD Media Question

Hey guys,
I'm making a paintball video for our local tourney. Got everything setup BUT the media (having a blast with creating DVD menus).

In any case... in YOUR experience, what brands of DVDR (either + or -) media have you had the best luck with playing in home DVD players. I know there are tons of "this worked for me" online, but I want to know what people I actually trust have to say.

I've had better luck with the dvd-r format. The disc that I made worked on all my dvd players, PS2 and XBox. The dvd+r of the same content, not so much luck.
