    Music Editing

    Does anybody know a good program that takes the words out of the music and vice versa that i can download off the internet? let me know.

    I used to use a program called CoolEdit. Dunno if it's still around though...

      You probably aren't going to be very succesful removing vocals with Cool Edit, its not exactly designed for that, unlike some software(dont know specifics though).

          To be honest, any editing software that has an EQ feature will work. The problem with removing vocals is you remove most of the mid from the song. This is because all you can do is remove the frequency range that the vocals fall in. Doing this causes the removal of music from this range too.

              Sound Forge can do it, but it's not free, nor cheap.

                Pro-tools is free, but they dont have it for all operating systems. The xp version isnt free.

                  True, But i figured he was looking for a standalone like Vocal Remover

                          Keygen=Key Generator. Wonderful little things these are...

                          Basically, someone cracks the algorithem(sp?) that a prog uses for authentication or CD Keys/Serials ant writes a little program to use the algorithem(sp?) to generate keys/serials.
