My first ArtWork what your opinion?

A friend of mine ask me if i could do some art for his team shirt never done it before but i go something they are called little devils and are locals so give me your opinions on my design

Having the lettering the same color as the background is a little confusing to the eye. It would be harder to read at distance.

The grinning ball looks like the symbol of this shop called Maximum Paintball in Fresno. That place is horrid. Odds are they stole it from someone. *swells with anger*

Nice artwork though, just needs a few tweeks.

I like the background a lot....seems edgy. The ball looks too much like others I have seen. Odds are you can free hand a unique devil for a one of a kind look.

Fonts need work. PM if you want some help.

I like it a lot, true the devil isnt all that original but i still like it.

smooth it out a little, use a different font for the words, and make the background a little less "BAM", and itll be a badarse

I like the image but the text appears to be lacking a bit.

You might want to try different fonts to see if you can get a better impact. Also, I'd either change the color away from the background color or add shadow to outline the text.

It's a great idea and a nice play on the teams name. Just be careful, it looks very similar to the X-Ball logo which it a trademark.

devil image = needs polishing and the position is a little off from the background...

text= needs a lot of polishing... the font doesn't mesh well with the graphic style of the background... and the colors don't stand out at all.

So what color For the text any suggested font im working in photoshop 5.0 if anyone got instructions to give.

You could just reverse the colors of the font. Make the black red and the red black. That might make it stand out from the background more.

Maybe Im alone on this but to me paintballs looking to the side just look wussy. I never see anyone do one where they are directly facing you with an evil grin and horns.

I just think of dogs when I see that. When they stare eachother down the wuss dog always looks away.
