    Foo -

Coincidentally, those were the exact reasons my parents gave. Among others. When you turn 16, pray for a car. And get a job. That takes it out of them, since they aren't doing the driving nor paying for it. Also, I would suggest proposing a slightly less expensive rig. Maybe a Spyder or something mid level. Mag's are great, but expensive by far in the end.

Hm... They say that a 40 dollar pb gun would be the most expensive they'd allow... That means a used BE...

I'm getting a job at the start of 2002 and I will get a 2000 Nissan Maxima GLE when I start driving.

Foo - I'd ask them to give you 10 clausable reasons as to why you cant spend your hard earned cash on paintball......And if they stay solid as a rock and wont let you buy anything more than a BE blade...Do what I told you in the PM I just sent you =)

$25,000 car in a year or $40 paintball gun now? I fail to see the logic in that.

OH well, I'll just wait for the car and go street racing... That would probably freak out my parents when I get arrested... Then they'd let me play!

well IMO, if ur parents aren't letting you play anymore, why waste valuable time hanging around at paintball sites and paintball fourms? Try harder in school and forget about paintball for a while. Maybe if u get straight 'A's ur parents might change their minds.

Maybe try treating your dad to a day of paintball, buy everything such as gas, food, air, paint etc. if he concedes to going. Maybe that will change his mind. If not, just say this out of the blue one day when both parents are around. "Well I got all this money, maybe I'll go give drugs a try." lol, jk.

tunaman, he was joking. I joke with my mom like that, like I would say, "I had a headache at school, and some kid gave me v-v-v-vicatin." She knows I'm just joking though.

Tell your parents all your friends are playing and that you are being excluded when they go to play. So stay home a lot and then when they say "Don't you have any friends?" be like they are all playing PAINTBALL! Parents get worried over that kind of stuff.

Get "depressed". Go to sleep early, dont eat much in front of your parents etc. LOL

You said you played 4 times a year, do you expect rides out there more than that. You said the field was an hour away. When you can drive, start complaining again.
