Point of order!

Accidentaly dropping your marker is not a penalty. The rule is no seperation from equipment (as defined a Marker is one item of Equipment) by five feet. (at least NPPL and most other derived froms rules are like this)


... and so its not the same as the rule applied to sportsmanship violations for "Throwing" your marker. (defined as "equipment")

As a Referee you would judge the intent and see if he picked it back up and it stayed within five feet. Getting shot and accidentaly dropping it in the process and recovering it would be a no call for penalty.

Speaking on that subject I've seen several PSP players pulled for sliding in, loosing their hopper and continuing to move on w/o the hopper and one balling farther up the snake and the hopper is sitting at the tail end.

That bunker shot looks mighty painful but then again we all know that is a possibility in this sport. If you don't like it don't play.

Ok, I got hit directly on the right nut and it hurt more than anything in the world! I was shot through some bushes about 25 feet away and it left a mark. However I don't think it's likely to get hit directly in tha balls as I did becuase I was sitting on my ankles with my knees separated. The paintball didn't pop, but my ball nearly did.
