Sound Device Error. Can't fix

Alright..so I'm playing music as I usually do and I decide I want to switch my winamp skin. So I switch it over and this error pops up:

DirectSound output v2.2.10 error

Bad DirectSound driver. Please install proper drivers or select another device in the configuration.
Error Code: 88780078

I've tried all the other drivers and none work. It's not something with just winamp. I tried Windows Media Player and it just says that it won't play. Stupid thing. I've reinstalled Winamp and it's still not working. Any ideas? Living without music, well, sucks.

Happens to me, ALL THE TIME. i just go on google and download a sounddriver for my soundcard

My problem is fixed. The Device just went Ka-put. I uninstalled it then reinstalled it and it works perfect. Nothing makes me happier than to listen to Agent Orange after a few hours of silence.
