    President Reagan has passed away!

The 'Gipper' has passed from this world.

A sad day indeed. At least he suffers from Alzheimers no more.

    Story here!

This is a sad day for the USA, and for the world.

More countries can thank Ronald Reagan for lifting the yoke of communist oppression, than any other in history.

I doubt that in my lifetime there will be another President of this magnitude.

Well, the man that brought down the Berlin Wall has been brought down in turn. Actor, Govenor of California, and President of the United States. Don't forget to lower your flags to half-staff.

It is an unfortunate loss, our country's greatest president has passed in to history.

When I was 3 I called the flag President Reagan, and President Reagan the American Flag. And in a way, I don't think I was completely wrong when I mixed the two. I went outside and put our flag at half staff earlier today.

I was born under Regan. Shame to lose a man of such greatness.

All I meant by what I said is another president is down and gone. Sad, yes, but he is soon to be worm food. Just like we all will be at some point. No disrepect intended but it's what's happening.

The man was NOT responsible for ANY recession, he was in fact, the catalyst for the greatest economic growth this country had ever seen.

Anyone who was alive during Carter's administration can remember the double digit inflation and the 25% plus interest rates.

It was Ronaldus Magnus and his vision of what this country was, and what it was capable of combined with reducing the confiscatory tax rates across the board that literally saved the economy from an even greater disaster and led directly to the amazing prosperity this country enjoyed under his guidance.

Whoever told you Reagan was partly responsible for a recession should be slapped silly and not allowed out in public.
