AGG-im tired of it

Actualy I seem to recall AGG being a Surf term back in the late 70s early 80s...it was short of Aggressive like the previous soccer thing but...I think the Surf rats had it first...as well as AGGRO and such.
Sigh...and I am also of the mind that AGG in its present use is just beyond silly.

the worst are the ones who uses it on everything they think its appropriate..yeah its a free word...but looses its purpose when used just for the fad..exp...(F/S AGG..marker super fast)
it wont make is sell any faster...want an analogy...giving a blind man a Ferrari...the car will never be driven for its porpose.

its a shame really..the fad will be gone soon enough just like before. will it be found again? prolly..and ill have to make the same thread again

Agg seems to be a west coast thing though I see it spilling over more and more into my local fields... I think the entire pink gun thing spurged this term but Im not sure..

Agg always has been and always will be....retarded. Im waiting for someone to say it to me in real life so I can punch them in the face.

Also Im a moderator on my fields forums...I added it to the censored words list. I won't have it on my forums.

I disagree with the "sub-culture" remarks. Alot of people on these boards have never been exposed to the new face of paintball, but I have.

In many areas, one of them being mine, the majority of players are 10-14 year olds who are pretending to be:
a: In the military
b: "blasting foo's wit ma tite autococker gat"

So, although it is true that "agg" is part of the sub-culture of paintball, I do not think that this sub-culture should be embraced. If we want paintball to eventually be as accepted a sport as baseball, basketball, or soccer, we need to show that the majority of all paintball players aren't immature kids who play in an unsafe way and commonly break the rules.

Does anyone else agree with me at all?
