What NOT to do in a Library.

As a very few of you might know, I work in a library. Normally I just have to deal with stupidity, but that's generally made up for by the fact that it's summer and the ladies aren't wearing much (Texas Tech has some FINE ladies).

Well today some guy decided that he needed to get his porn fix. So he uses one of our PUBLIC computers on the main floor to satisfy this need. Well turns out that just looking wasn't enough for him and he needed something just a touch more 'responsive'. *shudder*

Needless to say we'll be using plenty of disinfectant tonight....

Fortunately the campus police are quick and discreet. Won't see this praticular person back here.

He was removed from the University campus and infromed of Criminal Trespass (CT). If he is found on Tech Campus within the next year or so he goes to jail.

My friend used to work at a library, and they used to have this guy who would always "take care of business" in the library.

They could never catch him in the act though. It took them like two months before they finally nailed him.

lol I remember a similar incident that happened a my college library awhile back. Dude was escorted out in handcuffs by two officers.

Had something similar happen to me.

A long, long time ago in a land far, far away when I was working at the Planet Hollywood in Atlantic City.

Two gay guys came in and sat next to each other at the bar. Fine.

I realized that we were running low on vodka and had to leave the bar area to get a new case (I was the barbacker). On my way back I noteiced that one of the lovers had his hand on his partner lap but it was not exactly stationary if you get my drift.

I was speechless and had no clue what to do. Instead of ocnfronting them directly I told the shift supervisor on the radio and went back to work. About ten minutes later I see him standing at the railing on the other side of the floor. (The bar was on the second fllor and the majority of the floor was open to see the main floor) Anyway, he watches for a few seconds then leave. Suddenly, I heard this over the loud speaker:

To the gentlemen at the bar. Put it away now and all will be forgiven.

I know the guy being serviced must of lost his "interest" because there is no way that he could have enough blood down there after the shade his face turned. I almost lost it too. I had to go into the back room so as not to laugh right in their faces.

A couple years ago I was prosecuting misdemeanor cases and one of the police officers bought in a video of a young man who was supposed to be cleaning a downtown building. The secretary's called the cops after they found all the porn in the computers history and security set up two cameras. One showing the office chair and the other showing the screen. His break must have lasted a half hour of continuous "responsiveness". We charged him with unlawful entry into a computer- surprisingly how fast he pled guilty when he realized we had to call his parents.
