So, what did you learn today?

Everyone, during their academic career, will have one special teach that will touch you in a special way.

    NOT THAT WAY you sickos!

I mean this teacher will touch you so profoundly (quit it!) that their words will stay with you forever.

For me, this teach told me something very important and it goes like this:
"Even after you leave school and enter the world you will learn at least one new fact each and every day. The trick is to know what the new fact is a keep it with you.

With that in mind I am starting this thread. Let's post the new things we learn each day.

    I'll go first.

I learned today a very valuable lesson.

Cologne on body is good. Cologne on the twig and giggleberries is bad.

    Very bad.

So, what did you learn today?
Return to the free market. Get rid of all government regulations and let society make it's own decisions. Time and again the relaxing of government regulations has increased profits, innovation and the economy.

      What I learned

      1:
Even if you gut social services, and have a ketchup packet legally declared a serving of vegetables in school lunch programs, and run up the deficit beyond all imagining, when you die people will say you were the best president ever.

      2:
      Happy Wife, Happy Life.

      3:
Yes, I should have finished school when I was a young man.

      4:
When my mom kept nagging me about #3 in my younger days, she wasn't nagging me, she was warning me.

      5:
Wearing a cup in paintball is a good thing.

      6:
Never Fry Bacon Naked (that's the title of a cookbook I'm working on by the way, IT'S MINE!)

Yes, the oild can stain some fabrics but there is a downside to spraying the cologne directly on yourself. The chemicals in the fragrance will mix with your body chemicals and actually change the scent. Not so much that anyone would notice but it does change.

My solution? Spray my cologne on my undershirt and let it dry before finishing getting dressed.

To quote a great song by the great band Buchanan:

"There's nothing you can take on the day you die,
That you didn't have the day you were born."

Remember that and live life everyday to your fullest.
