I approve. Worthy of being added to my pile of stuff being used for things other than its purpose

Here is my ghetto stereo, first is my Sansui 9090 receiver I found in the garbage, look up on ebay what they sell for That took a dump on me after a year though . Now I have my mothers receiver that she bought in college. The CD changer, tape deck, radio thing and the silver speakers I bought about 7 years ago (stupid mistake). All the other speakers are products of peoples garbage. Funny that the only part I paid for is also the lousiest part (speakers sound like crap, radio is all staticish, cd's are alright but take forever to load, and the tape deck is annoying).

Atleast your's isn't held together with packing tape...

I got bored last christmas break and threw it together. I never thought of using a computer PSU though. I should switch to one considering the amp is rated for 12v and the transformer I'm using is putting out 14.4. Oh well, I don't use it that much, more of a novelty.

and yes, the wires are held together with packing tape too. Well, they're soldered but I didn't have any electrical tape so I used packing tape. Isn't that just a fire waiting to happen...

The base came from an old office chair I had, and the seat is an old one from my camaro (I got new ones). Although you do see seats in the garbage from time to time

Well, if the chair look a bit ungainly you could always build this:

Return to the free market. Get rid of all government regulations and let society make it's own decisions. Time and again the relaxing of government regulations has increased profits, innovation and the economy.
