I've been listening since 1997 or so. Good band, interesting lyrics. Not my fav though.

ahhh.. i'm not trying to flame or anything but to those who like modest mouse, what do you seen in these guys? My friend let me listen to the cd "good news to those who like bad news" or it was something like that, and i've seen their video. I dunno.. I guess I just don't like their style, or them.

Listen to their older stuff. The new disc, IMO is too commercial.

I listened to 'em back in the day. I think they're a little weird. plus, I heard the lead singer has like 6 rape charges against him or sumthin, and it all got settled outta court because of this new cd. that's why it's cheaper than any of their other CD's.
theres another band that has a video thats out now too, and they're freakin identical! anybody know what im talkin about, I cant recall the name.

That has got to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

If Isaac Brock is facing rape charges, or settled out of court. Regardless hasNOTHING to do with how much the CD cost, if anything it should cost MORE to pay off the settlements.

I have heard SOME mm that seriosly rocked my socks in a very original and undeniable way. But not everything of theirs I've heard has been so great, though not bad. I haven't heard any of the new stuff.
