yea i agree their older stuff is better. check out their cd called 'the lonesome crowded west.' 'the moon and antarctica' is an awesome cd too. i like 'good news for people who love bad news', too. the only cd i have that i dont really like that much is 'this is a long drive for someone with nothing to think about.' yea it sux their on MTV now, ive been listening for a year or so now so ive been listening since before their MTV play. i heard something about him raping a girl too. but i heard the girl just dropped the charges cuz it was too much trouble or something like that. i also heard that Isacc claims he talked to the devil. thats why hes against god. he talks about hating god in a bunch of their songs, too. there was an interview with the band in the newer Thrasher magazine, but i never got around to reading it yet. they are a really good band and if you havent heard them then check em out.

I've been impartial on Modest Mouse for as long as I've been familiar with them. However, hearing Float On every five minutes has made me start liking them a tad less.

i love them, my sisters boyfriend has been into them for forever, so i listened to them alot before they got "Big" but whatever, madchild, i would think before you spoke next time, not trying to flame or anything but the way you phrased your first post you sounded like a tool, throwing in "i listened to them before they were on mtv" was a little unconvincing, not that it really matters but just letting you know. oh yeah, i love all there stuff, new or old.

yeha ive listened to them for a while and i do like them alot i like the song/video "float on " ohh and if you like these guys listen to bands like franz ferdinand
