CS, Xbox or Computer?

CS for xbox is fun but it's only one player. And it gets old after a while. But if you have Live then it would be better.

Bah, I guess I just don't like XBOX, I mean, every GOOD game that comes out for it also comes out on other systems, even if it's a few months later (and by that time it's been upgraded and expanded).

Doom 3, HALO, Unreal, Full Spectrum Warrior, and Advent Rising are ALL already out or coming out for PC as well. Ninja Gaiden is the only exclusive title on the list, and how much you wanna bet that in another year TOPS it will be coming out for another system?
My point is, it's far better to get a PC and a PS2/Gamecube than get an XBOX with any of the other 3, you get a much wider selection of games, plus a much more comfortable control scheme.

true... but after playing game cube... ill never get nintendo again unless they wow me next year... ps2 is alright but xbox just kills it in just about everything now i know im going to get flamed for that comment. and yes sooner or later all games are on every console. but xbox has been getting them first

and the xbox and ps2 controllers are almost exactly the same.... well the new controllers for xbox at least plus the xbox controller fits your hand better and feals more comfortable after along period of time...

and by your quoted statement you just said that xbox leads the industry in games and everyone else is catching up... i dont know but thats what i got from that comment

The only reason that XBOX is "leading" the industry is because Micro$oft pays gobs of money to the devs to release the game for them first. And not every game eventually comes out for every console. You see, every other except XBOX has First Party Developers who make games just for that console, not matter what (Like Zelda for GC, which is, imo, a truly awesome game). The way I see it, there isn't a war between consoles and PC, they both just offer different games, and some games play better on certain platforms.
There's no way I'd play Doom 3 on a console, but there's also no way I'd play Metal Gear Solid on the PC.

EDIT: Also, I consider control schemes a personal choice, the original XBOX scheme was pure garbage, and they deserve minus points just for ever having released it. I love the PS2 configuration, and I also like the GC's, if only for its originality.

I refused to play first person shooters on consoles. i would rather go out for a 10 mile jog than play a fps on console. Not only can you not shoot opponents, but the AI can rarley hit you.. as if the programmers compensate for the inability to shoot from a controller.. so they make the AI sucky.

PCs are the only way to go.. consoles play sports fine.. but once you hit the competitive gaming world via PCs.. you are hooked for life..
