That really depends on what kind of system you have in the car. You need a line in on the head of some sort. Some factory units and many of the aftermarket heads can be adapted to have a line in, in place of the CD-Changer input.

The damn thing has a weird LCD problem. If I hold it up to the light at the right angle, the LCD has these swirly rainbowy oily smudges near the top and bottom and some on the left side of the screen. Damn refurbrished POS, but hell, for 417 bucks with full warranty, I'm happy.

Alpine is soon probably going to offer a in car headunit that will allow you to control your iPod through the normal controls by using the docking port in 3g iPods. The easier solution would be to use one of the AM/FM transmiters and your radio and a little cradle. Also, power jack is good. Basically, you place your iPod into the cradle, add the transmiter to the top of the iPod and plug all of this junk into your plug. Tune your radio to the appropriate frequency and whalla, instant music.
