well, today i spent the time to rip all the songs off the MTV "The Leak" Site for the Beastie Boys' new album, 'cause i was too lazy and too poor to walk down to sam goody


if anyone wants me to send them the .ZIP file of all the songs off of Beastie Boys - To The 5 Boroughs, catch me on AOL or whatever, and make sure that you have alot of free time on your hands, and a fast modem - i refuse to spend more than 20 minutes sending this file to some freakin 14.4k user


either that, or e-mail if you have a LARGE inbox capacity (60mb)

or if you have MSN Messenger - the transfer moves ALOT faster on the MS server than it does on AOL's server

and sensorship isnt the best thing in the world, but this WAS on MTV's site, so its sensored, but its only in a couple songs out of 15 - plus its free

I think stealing music is stupid. I mean if I want to see how a band sounds, sure I'll download a few songs off Kazaa or whatever, but not a whole friggin cd?! Support the artists you like!

Paying $20 for a cd is f'ing insane. The band/artist only gets a small fraction of what their cd makes(unless you buy it at a show), the rest goes straight to the blood sucking record companies. The only time I buy a cd anymore is if I really like it or if i'm just to damn lazy to download it(since I'm on dial-up, it takes ~10hrs for a normal cd).

I support the bands I listen going to their concerts and buying shirts and stuff there('cause then the money goes directly to them). F buying cd's and F the RIAA.


And note: I don't really care for the Beastie Boys, I was just recomending an alternative method to ripping crappy quality streaming audio thats censored.

haha, hell yea for the best buy employee discount! good cd for sure, not quite as good as license to ill or hello nasty, but worth the couple of bucks. go get it while the 2 bucks off deal is still on at best buy!
