    verizon is the rock diggity...i have only been able to find 4 deadspots(where i go) in the last 3 years that i have had service...oh and also, i travel all over the US.

      i use verizon... i just drove from pa to fl... all the way down the east coast and verizon worked fine all the way!

          ok about the lossing of signals i have us cellular and it has the wrost signal ever. i could be right next to the ****ing tower and it still wont give me any bars. so thus i have tons of roaming charges. i hate cell phones. but i have found nextel has a bigger area and works 10 times better.

            Yeah here in so-cal they do work the best.. Cingular is the worst. Sprint is a close second. T-mobile is allright. At&t (which is what I have) works almost everywhere with very good sound quality. Verizon is the best tho. They seem to work everywhere here.

            Edit: Oh yeah Nextell. They are probably the best, but you pay thru the nose for the phones and service. It's not worth it.
