Interesting Web Oddity; Any 'Coders' Help?

While trying to get to planet doom, I accidentally hit www.pl and it gave me a cookie, to login as 'intern'. The 'site' was made in 98, and was last updated the 29th of March. Web links associated with said 'oddity' go from New York to a city called 'Poznan', which, IIRC, is in Poland..

Not sure what the oddity is? Its somthing served via appace that has an htacces mask. Now if you are thinking the domain name is weird... go to www.www.pl maybe that clears it up. (Same logon page) the Actual domain is "www" you are just seing it w/o a subdomain.

My guess is just a corporate intranet. Or proboly more likely somone farting around with a webserver.
