    What does AO carry, blade-wise?

Well, I just got my first Benchmade, and I'm damn impressed. I've owned knives from Kershaw, Buck, Spyderco, Camillus, Victorinox, and (of course) Ka-Bar, but this has got to be the sweetest knife I have ever had the pleasure of owning. My last one was a (now discontinued) Spyderco Merlin, fully-serrated, Harpie-style blade that some punk stole off of my kitchen table. I figured it was time for a replacement.

    Linky to Awesomeness

So, anyhoo, what is AO packin', knife-wise?

at this second... 2 CRKT knives and a karambit trainer.

I am currently picking up some edged weapons background to go with my lifetime of firearm use. Mostly utilitarioan stuff to keep me up to speed with my friends.

Anyhow on my wishlist are some primo Strider knives and some more trainers to flesh out my training belt to match my carry rig.

Here's a pic of some of the blades in my room...

For daily use, I carry the Benchmade. (Lowest) It's model 921, and I love it. I'm looking to pick up a balisong soon, and Ed has me very interested in karambits.

Edit: Hey, Target, we live in the same town. Where do you play?

For that much money it oughta be good!!

Right now I got a CRKT M16-03. Good knife, though right now its about as dull as a spoon. spent the past couple days opening up mulch bags and slicing up carpet. now I gotta find the old sharpening stone...

I play at Brad's field out on 41, on the way to Templeton. Or is it on the way to Creston? Anyhoo, the opposite direction of Morro Bay. You play at Breakout?

I use the Tanto edged (non serrated) one in this pic.

I love these cause they're so thin and fit nicely into my pocket. They don't get in the way of accessing my pockets.

                  ...

Yeah, next to Harpie, Tanto is my favorite blade style. I once owned a tanto-blade Ka-Bar. Man, that was one Bad*** knife. Then I traded it in for a Leatherman Supertool 200, and I get a crapload of more use out of it.

Well, I don't play at all right now, I just had knee surgery. I used to play at Dave's. If I could get a ride out to Brad's I would play out there, but no one very close to me plays (I live at the mouth of Prefumo Cyn)

                    Back to the topic....

i love tanto blades, that CRKT looks nice

it's nice. The edge is put on from one side so when closed the blade is still safe even tho it is exposed.

Also from the factory it comes with a wicked edge.....

I'm thinking about buying another just cause. They have these in black too.

I have quite a few knives of all different brands. The one that goes everywhere with me is the Victorinox Swiss Champ.

Oh yeah this reminds me... I got this tid bit of info from my knife forum...

appears that NYC is cracking down on so called "Gravity Knives". Possession of a "Gravity knive in NYC is considdered a felony so watch your butt. "What is a gravity knife?" you ask? Well honestly its a knife that opens automaticly or under the power of gravity. Unfortunatly the city ordinance that governs this type of knife is VERY LOOSLEY worded and can be applyed to about anything that is a folder and not from Victorinox.

So check ya gear and watch your keesters brothers.
