What I've Been Up to for the last 3 months (3d modeling)

Well, for the last three months I haven't been online too much(a lot thanks to being out of it for a week thanks to the surgury on my wrist) because of school. Just wanted to show some screen shots of what I've been up to. Everything is still in progress and awaiting textures. Everyting besides the drum set is modeled in max and going to be textured in Maya

The ships and the two buildings are for my production team class. The basis of the class was set as if we were ILM and given a scene by Lucas Production to model, light, and animate so it's based off one of the city fly_throughs from Star Wars E.2. Hopefully i'll have some screen shots that are showable in a couple weeks once it's done.(the textured building was modeled by my friend Rick Wolf in max and i textured it in Maya; Blimp concept by: Greg Frizzel; Building and Angel Ship concept by: Brad Wagner)

Hope you enjoy. Post any comments you might have as well.

those 2 that you're speaking of are ships that are in my production team project of a sci-fi city fly through.

And yes, like joe said I broke my wrist helping my grandpa. It would be my luck that all the years of snowboarding I haven't broken a bone but i have to catch my shoe on a cyclone fense and break my wrist. The 3 pins that were in my arm were partially the factor of not allowing me to play paintball. Luckily it was my left hand and not my right so i can still draw and use a mouse.

post some WIREFRAMES! lets see how messy that mesh is

why are you texturing in maya instead of max? what advantages does that have?

Max is a little wierd with texturing. Due to some of the presets in the program, I can't always set things like want...or when I get them where i want, they shift as a result of another adjustment. Maya is easier for a more advanced animator
