and for the record please don't compare with American Football (which part of the foot do you use?) cause they are nothing alike, apart from the same shaped ball.

haha typical! But seriously, its a game that is better played by men. Im not being sexist, its like a man can run 100m faster than a woman. In Rugby, its about brute strength and tactics, with NO PADDING. Try it out, but mind your ears.......

Bolter, Swanster, the only people who are going to say yes to playing are Europeans. I would love to see a team of American footballers take on a rugby team...it would be carnage....for the american team way too used to playing with padding...now that will get 'em started

For the record I played at school level only, scrum half and winger...the only game I played after that was field hockey as I moved areas and until then I always thought of field hockey as a girls game...I was so wrong, I was better at Hockey than Rugby (too small although very quick on my feet) and played for the school and in the adult leagues while still at school. PE teacher was a member of an adult league team and they were short of players for one division so it was basically the school team and two teachers..and we used to wear shin pads on the front and back of the legs too..as if we missed the player on the way to us we got them on the way past but if they tried it to us we didn't stop 'cos of the double pads. But that is way of topic.

I played rugby for PE back in 7th and 8th grade. It was fun because both of my PE teachers played rugby for a club in longbeach, CA until one went on to join the USA olympic team. I swear i am not joking. His name is David Fee. I <3 rugby but i still like American football better.
