Verizon or Sprint?!?!?!?!?

Actually, the only service I use, have used, is Verizon. Mainly because most of the others have don't have service here, period. I've been tempted to see if I could sue Sprint for false advertising, since they don't cover MT in any way what-so-ever. I'm just too good natured. So for now, it's Verizon all the way.

i work for verizon, so of course i have sprint. (seriously..)

after working at verizon, you start learning about policies and stuff that the average person doesn't know about. let's just say that verizon does their very best to screw you over, much like any other (cell phone) company, but they REALLY do it. not to mention their support sucks, their phones are fragile as crap, etc.

the only better thing about verizon is their overall coverage of the united states. it's by far the best in the nation, but then again, most of the time, the calls sound horrible, so i went with sprint. always have service, never have a dropped call, never have incessant unfixable network problems, never get overcharged, never hear static or other people's convo's, never have a battery die on me, never have a phone die on me, never have signal disappear for no reason, etc (which verizon all has...with an unfortunate high frequency).

so...again, i work for verizon, so of course i have sprint. any other company is not even worth talking about.

Thordic, i gotta disagree with you. I just got verizon, and I have yet to run into a dead spot in all of central jersey, northern jersey, or eastern PA. Maybe they have upgraded since you left verizon, but I have had nothing but full bars. I think the lowest I ever went was two bars... at least that I have noticed....

if you're looking JUST for signal everywhere, go verizon. if you want quality phones, support, policy, and calls, don't even consider verizon. verizon definitely has the most coverage of the US, but uhh...verizon really has other things to worry about.

I said comperable (may be misspelled) as in the phones are basicly the same phone with different software. Although you could bring in a phone and have it programed for the new network it is just not a common occurance. So you were onto what I was saying in the second half of your post

I gotta improve my reading skills. I dont know why I read it as compatible. I had no idea you could have a phone reprogramed for a different service. I never heard of such a thing. Do you know how much something like this would cost?

as far as my knowledge goes, you can't. why? because the actual physical internals of the phones are different for each network. this is according to everyone i know at verizon, so...take it with a grain of salt...
