Because I dont listen to some crappy emo band, that means I listen to rap, which in fact, sucks even harder than Story of the Year.

Rock on. Its because Story of the Year isnt "real" emo... but there really isnt another genre to place it. We just need to make a genre called "manufactured trash" and throw it all in there.

With that being said, I like some emo. Thursday in particular... I would also say Coheed and Cambria, but im not so sure it should be considered "emo."

I agree. Yuck. It's about as deep a Brittney Spears but not produced as well. I don't see the appeal of listening to singers that can't sing

I saw Story Of The Year open up for Linkin Park back in February of this year. At the time I never heard of the group, but I thought their live performance was really good. Much better than the other bands on the bill, which included Hooberstank, P.O.D, and also Linkin Park. Nevertheless, Dokken is still best live rock group i have ever seen. but unfortunately I think most of you were born at the wrong time.

LOL Coheed is more emo then SOTY, and yes if its a bunch of beebs and boops in no order it can be considered trash, but then again wouldn't be considered music

Yeah squid is an idiot, I mean who said we should have opinions on what kind of music we like? Anthem of our dying days is an ok song, nothing more then that, pretty much like SOTY, they have a few mediocre(sp?) songs but nothing to get excited about.
