    Backyard wildlife photos

Well somehow I ended up not having a job for the summer so I'm bored (and poor). Got out my mom's digi cam and took some pics.

Unfortunately her camera isn't the greatest and the digial zoom kinda wrecks pictures, but sizing them down makes them look a little better.

    here they are http://web.umr.edu/~sjjgfd/backyard/

Dude,....Its time to open the pool. Do it and maybe your mom will be impressed that she didn't have to tell you first and she'll pay you!

those pics were taking a few weeks ago. We had to wait for deck stain to go on sale and stain it before we took the cover off.

Now we are just waiting for a part of the pump and it'll be off in no time

If you ever post anymore pleez pleez no more hawk pics... The rest were great!

Manike-It's still early days. One thing for sure is that the future is going to be interesting, and we intend to be a BIG part of it.

yea we have a hawk nest in our backyard, every year they get it on and out come some babies. Think there are 4 this year.

Last year there was one that had something wrong with it, blind or just dumb. He always jsut hopped around the yard screaming, we got to feed him pieces of steak. One time we heard him screeching in the woods for a long time so we went out to check it. I guess he fell off a stump or something because he was upsidedown in a pile of leaves, had to get these super thick leather gloves and go turn him rightside up. Haven't seen him since.
