Exactly. 3 minutes to reply to an email. Say 250 emails a day. Do the math.

12.5 hours. 250 emails a day seems a tad excessive, but since i dont really know i will go with your numbers.

I ordered $500 worth of stuff from Doc, and it took just under three (3) months for the stuff to get here (be it a delay due to shipping, or Doc himself).

I didn't complain too much though, because I know exactly what he's working through.

Just as an example, I do less than a third of the business Doc does (this is a guess, but an educated one), and I get about a hundred emails a day. It doesn't take too many two paragraph responses to end up spending three hours getting through them either.

Now, take three hours out of every work day, and you're down to a 5-7 hour day, which tends to limit the amount of real work (actually building the stuff you've sold) you can get done.

Also, you can't just say "Work 3 more hours every day!", cause face it, we are all human, and you gots to rest. Believe me, working 12 hour days, 7 days a week, will catch up with you VERY fast. If you've never done it, take my word for it. Those last four hours of the day seem like a week.

Anyhow, I think he's an honest fellow (read as: you won't get screwed) that REALLY needs a secretary and at least one apprentice/go-fer.

i jest dont see how he can run a buissness and ships things a month later. if you ordered something for some site any site and took a month to ship something i dont think that they will be getting lot of orders. pretend that you bought a tank from pb gear.com and it took a month and some days to get it. do you think that you will go back there again to get something. i needed that 15* a while ago. but now i sold my mag i cant use it. and i dont care if he allready sent it out. i will still keep it and use it on a backup. but theres no reson to take this long to ship something out. hes a great guy to deal with but shipping is jest unbileablbley slow. but what i am tring to get here is




how can i get a hold of him so i can eather get the 15* or my money back ! please help thanks

I ordered a 15* adapter last week as well. Knowing that sometimes things take a while for him to ship, I made a point of emailing and asking if one was in stock. Got an email back in a couple of days saying that there was some in stock. I don't understand why it's taking so long. I hope it works out well for you.

i was in a similar situation with Doc. I had paid him $350 to make me a part for my Rainmaker (Which turned out hella nice by the way)...In September. He said, "4-6 weeks at the most". Come Christmas, I asked about it...no reply. Come February I asked, no reply. I knew he was a reputatble business man, and knew he wasn't going to jack my money, however I did want my part. I dint want my money back, I just wanted the part.

Anyhoo...I did end up getting the part, and it does rock. Happy with every penny spent...even after not being able to talk to him forever. It ended up that I sent him a SNAIL MAIL letter with $50 extra to overnight it ASAP back to me. I got it.

my recommendation: SNAIL MAIL. Send it REGISTERED
