I guess sony found a medium they can sell off them minidisks they put so much stock in (and patented for properitary use)... The funny part is the fact Minidisk recorders have been around for 6 years and im sure that rampant game dubbing is gonna take off. Well that is ofcourse if they dont switch to a dvd-minidisk format.

I'm one of those people who have had problems with their original Playstation 1 and 2, as is my roommate. We each have had first generation Playstations crap out on us, and we're now on our second PS2. Considering the rumored $300 price tag, I'm going to hold off on it.

I'll still make sure make sure I get my PS3 on launch day, though. That should be a big enough leap in technology, programming, and design that I'll take my chances.

Another thing, GC disks are NOT mini disks. Well, they're mini, but they are not the mini-disk(Sony's)format. They're 100% proprietary(along with Matsu****a or however it's spelled).

Besides,Nintendo's Game Boy has always dominated the market. It has the largest user base of ANY system(portable or not) out there.

I may be wrong, but Nintendo also seemed to dominate the market when the PS1 came out. Now look where Sony is.

I think I'll hold out till it's been out for a while and the price comes down some. Till then I'll stick with my SP.

Yeah right now I'm hooked on my new Gameboy adv SP. Got this game with a few old atari games on it it's very addicting. When you say it's like a portable ps2 does that mean it uses ps2 games?

I think its gonna pwn nintendos counterpart. But I'm not gonna buy 1 till ive played both anyway. I just dont think nintendo will be able to pull off the dual screen thing.(and keep it simple enough to play)
