AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Man, what were they thinking... I feel bad for that guy walking accross, had a walk light and everything and then a car rolls over onto them. Reason why I think that people should have to retake their driving exams every 5 or so years to make sure they are still roadworthy.
Maybe someone can PM me why my sig was tampered

My favorite was someone eating Chinese food out of a plate. One hand on the plate, one on the fork. Reading a paper is common in traffic.
Doesn't anyone else think that looks to perfectly staged to be real? If it is.. damn, that's really harsh and sucks, I'd hate to be the driver with the guilt of killing somone like that on my conscience.
But if it was staged... still, damn, that's brutal.

I'm fairly sure that the pedestrian lived. The PT hit the SUV and created a dent which apparently was exactly the same spot where SUV rolled over onto him. Had the dent not been there he would have been crushed. That's what I read on a news site yesterday.

Dayton Police release dramatic video that shows an SUV landing on top of a pedestrian after a crash.
It happened yesterday at West Third and Edwin C. Moses.
There are cameras at the intersection to catch red light runners.
They show the victim walking in the cross walk when a car and an SUV crashed.
TheSUV then rolled over onto the pedestrian.
Police say it all started when the driver of a PT Cruiser ran a red light and slammed into the SUV.
At least one passerby wittnessed the crash and called 9-1-1.
Police say the drivers got away with minor injuries.
But the pedestrian, 43-year-old Scott Tegtmeyer was critically injured.
Now, prosecutors are taking a close look at the video to determine what charges the driver of the p-t cruiser could face.
Investigators say analysis of the video has already revealed some crucial factors.
Pollicesay the light had been red for 28 seconds when the p-t cruiser entered the intersection.
They sayTegtmeyer should not have been crossing the street at the time because the crosswalk signal was red.
Amazingly, investigators also say that themassive dent left on the side of the SUV, caused by the impact of the crash, created a hallow space that keept Tegtmeyer from being crushed to death as the vehicle rolled over him.
Tegtmeyer was listed in serious condition Monday night.
My grandfather should've given up his license a LONG time ago, but he still drives at 80-something years old, and has gotten into two accidents within the past few years.
If women are such bad drivers...why is their insurance LOWER then mens??

The reason for that is because that insurance companies think that teen males are so much more aggressive and pumped on testosterone or something that we are more dangerous. Ever sat in a high school parking lot recently and look at who are peeling out at like 80 mph and doing stupid stuff...not the guys.

Down here in South Florida, many of the women drivers down here, have giant SUV's such as escalade ESV, Denali's, Yukons, everything that is giant and expensive. Now with them, you drive down one of the main roads, in my town, you look out your window, every women driver is on her cell phone, putting make up on it the rear view mirror. I cant tell you, how many times I have almost been hit by a women in a giant SUV. But they mostly get into accidents at the round abouts here, that have yield signs, they blow right past the sign, not yielding, people slam on their brakes to avoid being hit. I drive down I-95, going 80 mph and women in their SUV's are blowing right past me on their cell phone putting on make up, its insane.

Yup, its great when its not even a mother, she is either single or married without kids and has a suburban just to have a big car. Then since they have the huge thing they feel safe and don't pay any attention.
