Glad to see we did it. For a bit there I was thinking we would hold onto it due to the attacks.

Pretty smart move. Not giving the insurgents a specific day to attack. Although I suspect attacks will happen in two days that were put in motion a good while back. Will be interesting to see. And will tell us a few things about thier network.

But lets keep this non political. Current events are fine. But note the minute I see one go political its getting closed.

I heard on the radio today that they planned on keeping the troops there for a very long time. exact words. but who knows. and what's wrong with a little political discussion, as long as people are mature about it? but I suppose it's hard for some people to be mature. oh well...

I think it was a very smart Idea, and Done very smoothly, But I agree with CPhil, the rebels will probably mount an attack either two days from now, when it was supposed to be the handover, or, if they decide to push it up, sometime before then, But I am sure our boys are on teh highest alert...

Agreed, if we send the troops home to early the government could easily fall in the wrong hands wasting all of the times/money/lives we have spent already.
