Mako Mania!!!!! Tunaman Places 3rd!

Well we held 1st place for 2 days solid with this 162 lb Mako with no other eligible fish weighed in this 26th annual Jersey Coast Shark Anglers Tournament. We got bumped in the final hour by a 228lb'er, but that team was not in the calcutta. So we still held second place and the calcutta! With 35 minutes to go, we got bumped to third by a 163 lb'er, and that team was also in the calcutta. So we got bumped to third place, missing the 17400.00 calcutta by one lb! Not our day I guess. Sweet. All i could think of when i saw the pic of that shark, is that one Real Tv episode where the guys catch the shark and think its dead, so the one guy sticks his hand in the sharks mouth and the shark clamps down.

Nice catch Tunaman. Every year twice actually, i got deep see fishing off Keywest, and the Gulf Of Mexico. Last summer we landed 46 Mahi-Mahi (dolphine fish) in one run, weed lines own. In my history we'eve got a couple sails, sum grouper, snapper ect ect. Still looking for that damn Tarpon...
