Mosquitoe Bites

Man, after a long weekend of paintball i got home and realize just how bad those mosquitoes were. Anyway, long story short are there like any creams or anything i can buy to make them go away faster. If so, what stores carry it? Thanks

anything with antihistamine in it. namely benadryl. the capsules seem to work better on me than the cream does.

I forgot what it was called. Its like ina green and yellow tube... OH YAH. it's called "Sting Ease" its this stuff. its like a miracle u just drop 1 drop on ur bug bite. and poof the pain is gne for like 8 hours. and it works instanly no *POOF*. its amazing =D and it helps them go away faster

Sucks where I work at for mosquitos too...and now with west nile all about its got me kinda paranoid. I pretty much bathe in OFF at around 8 pm when they come out, but its just not enough.

Yeah they blow, but the thing that really freaks me out about playing in the woods in summer are the TICKS!!!

I use so much DEET everytime I play, not only do the ticks and skeeters not bother me, but I think I am knocking years off of my life!

I like destroying mosquitoes.

Today, I noticed one had begun to make a meal of my right forearm. I let her bite down, then I slowly moved my left hand within striking distance. I grabbed her without popping her, and pulled her out. I grabbed all 6 of her legs and rolled them between the thumb and forefinger of my right hand, tearing them out.

Then I let her fly away

DEET!!!!! That is "the shiz"... I've got like 6 bottles of 100% deet sitting in my basement, just in case they stop making it because of all the fuss over how ridiculously powerful it is or some crap like that. Stuff's amazing...

I am a tick magnet. Even coated in deet I come back from a camping trip with at least 10+ bites along with some free loaders still attached.

I read somewhere that if you take garlic pills consistently for a week or so before heading outside mosquitos and ticks will avoid you.

Go to your local pharmacy you can get something called and oatmeal bath (I know it sounds all fancy boy). This stuff is FO RIZZLE!!!! I had uber mosquito bites and my girl had me take a bath is this stuff. It killed the itching for a good long time and they went away much quicker. I think I took three baths over three days and it helped oot a ton.

Number 1 way to avoid ticks is pretty much common sense. Wear long pants and tuck the bottoms into your socks. Dont leave skin exposed for them to get into basically, since they LOVE tall grass. In Wisconsin we have all sorts of ticks (I'd imagine other areas of the states do too), including the kind that carry lyme disease. I've followed this rule pretty much on every camping trip I've been on, and only had 1 tick bite.
