ok...i posted a thread earlier about the united states postal service...now im wondering what'st he LONGEST youve waited for a piece of mail to get to you...please include the place where u sent it....and the destination of the letter or package....id like to know being that its been over a week since my piece of letter hasnt arrived at the destination...

I've had enough problems with late shipments using first class. I send everythng priority mail now and I've never had a problem since.

It takes up to 20 days to get letters and packages here....however, that depends entirely on the enemy, NOT the USPS.
Letters from the states arrive in Kuwait in 5 days from being sent. Now the wait is on building a convoy to get it to Baghdad, then it is flown or trucked by another convoy to wherever in-contry it needs to go. Now the mail handlers on post must sort it all out by Brigade, battalion, and company. Anywhere from 9 days to nearly a month to hear from home.
So...quit whining

damn ...i may be screwed because i sent a money order to a guy that i boguht a mag off of here on AO ...im gonna give it another week (this friday) and then im gonna unleash hell on the USPS...but u know im only asking so i know what to expectComment

send it priority no matter what it is. It always gets there on time. I sent out about 300 packages in the last 5 months for ebay realated stuff and every single one got there on time.

dont worry about that, do you still have the receipt for it? if it never arrives, you can make sure by seeing if it was ever checked in at the post office. if it wasn't you can just cancel it and then the only money you lost was the shipping.Originally posted by eNder159'people should not be allowed to own paintguns which are smarter than they are'

well you can't officially claim anything "lost" until 30 days after you sent it. I've had a priority mail package that was detoured for 2 weeks, and parcel post that supposedly never got there ( i think the kid on ebay lied...). The worst actual letter delay was an invite to a graduation party that i recieved 3 months later, also if it is a wrong address/return to sender deal that could take approx. 2 weeks.Comment

well i sent it certified so i know if the m/o was received at the destinations local post office...and i still have all the receipts and what not...i just hope that itll get there on time..because i have a tourny to play on july 11 ...Comment
