    Local player passed away

I know Im a little late on this but Ryan Dionne or MarineRDNC as we know him here passed away after a 2 year fight with cancer. I found this on his field's website... I didn't know him very well but I did know him and thought this would be nice. I never thought of 8 as being middle aged.

    Ryan Dionne (March 4, 1987 - June 4, 2004)

Ryan was only 17 when he passed away on friday June 4, 2004. Ryan spent almost the last two years fighting cancer. Ryan life consisted of baseball, football, paintball, and many other school and community activities. Ryan had so many dreams, he wanted to attend Notre Dame, and he wanted to serve in our country's Marine Corp. Ryan was very brave. courageous, outgoing, funny, friendly, an all around wonderful honest person. Ryan survived by his mother, Kathy (Stevens) Dionne, father leo "Jim" Dionne, sister Holli Dionne, and girlfriend Shana Wilson. He also survived by other family members in Ohio, Flordia, California. Ryan and his family will be in our prayers. We will miss him tremendously and will forever cherish the memories and moments we had with him.

    GOD BLESS

    -Mark

Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. To the fearful it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident it is inspiring because the challenge exists to make things better -King Whitney Jr

People shouldn't die young, it's sad that is how things work out sometimes. My condolences.
